Genius Hour Movie Trailer

This is my Genius Hour Trailer! I used iMovie to create this trailer. I found this was an excellent tool to use because it provides guidance and choice for students. First you pick what genre of movie trailer you want to make. Then you are given a template to fill in. You can use a combination of pictures and videos. I would implement this resource in my classroom to scaffold my students learning experiences while making videos.

    Right off the bat I can tell that music has played a large part of your childhood! You did a great job communicating that through the pictures your included at the beginning of your trailer! I was left wondering what instrument you were going to learn how to play in your Genius Hour! You didn't give too much away in the trailer either, there was many aspect of mystery to it. The trailer ultimately, left wondering what songs you learned too play and the challenges you overcame! Can't wait to watch your ted talk!

    Hi Alex,
    I love the personal aspect to your trailer, with all of the pictures from you as a child! I can tell that you did lots of research and worked hard to learn how to play the ukulele. What a great idea for your Genius Hour Project! The template you picked from iMovie was a great choice. It was a very intriguing trailer and made me want to hear you sing and play! I'm sure your future students would love for you to play and have them sing along with you! So cute!
